INDICATION 

• It relieves pain due to smooth muscle spasm like menstrual pain, pain due to kidney stone, pain due to biliary stone and gastro-intestinal colicky pain

ACTION

• Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling). Together, they relieve menstrual cramps and colicky pain. 
• Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen. IT is used for menstrual pain and abdominal pain.
