INDICATION

• It is an antifungal medication

ACTION

• Clobetasol is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
• Gentamicin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
• Ketoconazole, Clioquinol, and Tolnaftate are antifungal medicines. Ketoconazole kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection. 
• Clioquinol acts by interacting with DNA synthesis thus killing the fungi that are responsible for causing the infection. 
• Tolnaftate prevents growth of fungal cell-wall. It also prevents forming fungal colonies. This is how it causes death of fungi and relieves your infection.
