INDICATION

• Cefpodoxime is used in the treatment of bacterial infections, respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), skin infections, ear infections, infection of the sinuses, throat infections, infection of the tonsils

ACTION

• It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
